Going to any haunt on the first night ever operating to the public can be questionable. But this year I made the trip to St Davids andI chose opening night because I wanted to experience the haunt in it’s beginning form.I was pleasantly surprised at how the night went. This is a haunt that is going to make a few others in the area take notes! There are greathaunts all over the Carolinas, but none have the eerie institutional atmosphere felt at St. Davids. The halls glean with darkness andblood glistens off the walls. Screams of victims and psychos alike warn of the dreadthat’s ahead and the actors are good too!The bus ride has some terrifying elements andyou truly lose sense of direction as you take a ride into the unknown. I personally saw a varsity football player go from the front of theline to the back of the line and my own daughter who started off a willing victim, hesitant to continue. This is a fresh haunt with an old feel and it leaves one with the feeling that there is more to explore, but after a run in with the Dr and a trip to the boiler room few if any would have the guts to do so!! St. Davids in Society Hill, Was the best haunted house I have ever been to. I am not one easily scared by haunted houses, But this one had me screaming, jumping, and my anxiety though the roof!I loved its originality and uniqueness! Nothing like the others I have visited! I will definitely be going back and telling my friends to do the same,I give it Five Stars! Raven C.
